FM Sylvan Launches Canadian Operation
FM Sylvan Canada LTD to Deliver World Class Industrial Pipe Installation & Fabrication Services to the Ontario Market
Windsor, ON—April 5, 2010—FM Sylvan today announced a new, dedicated Canadian Operation. Headquartered in Windsor, ON under the direction of Sean Maine, FM Sylvan Canada LTD will provide a full range of industrial and institutional contracting services to leaders in the automotive, chemical, petroleum, energy and government, educational, sectors throughout Ontario. This expansion supports the company's growth strategy by extending services to a new geography where there is strong demand for industrial pipe fabrication and installation, millwright and rigging services in the sectors FM Sylvan has traditionally served.
FM Sylvan Holding has appointed Sean Maine Senior Vice President of FM Sylvan Canada LTD, and Divisional Vice President of FM Sylvan, Inc. Maine will oversee all aspects of the Canadian operation, reporting directly to Robert H. Metz, President, FM Sylvan Canada LTD and COO/Managing Partner of FM Sylvan Holding, LLC, the parent company of both FM Sylvan, Inc. and FM Sylvan Canada LTD. In addition to having full operational and profit and loss responsibility for FM Sylvan Canada LTD, Maine will also serve as a partner and member of the Board of Directors for FM Sylvan Canada LTD. He comes to FM Sylvan from Comstock, where he demonstrated a proven track record in building and managing organizations and teams as well as bidding, estimating, and delivering industrial services projects on time and within budget. Most recently, he was General Manager of Comstock Canada Ltd London and Automotive Division, where he was responsible for $100 million in annual revenues.
