Jeffrey McKinnon
Project Manager Jeffrey McKinnon joined FM Sylvan in 2006. In his tenure with the company, he has harnessed his deep technical expertise to spearhead a number of key projects, primarily in the automotive sector. He is responsible for all aspects of a project's success, including estimation, project management, and operations. Jeffrey has demonstrated his unique blend of engineering knowledge and pragmatic business sense on key projects for Ford, GM, and Volkswagen. Jeffrey holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and is currently seeking his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. He has completed an OSHA 10 hour safety certification.
Philip N. Schwalje III
Project Manager Phil Schwalje has more than 15 years of mechanical contracting experience. He joined FM Sylvan in 2004 and specializes in Energy, Petro-Chemical, Food & Beverage, & Pharmaceutical industries. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing every aspect of a project's lifecycle to ensure on-time on budget delivery and a customer satisfaction. Since joining FM Sylvan, Phil has helped the company expand its position in the energy market while successfully managing projects across a number of industries including Chevron, Amerada Hess, Yankee Gas/CB&I, BMS, and Conectiv Power.
Phil studied Business and Accounting at Middlesex County College and attended the UA Local 9 Apprentice Program. He has been a Local 9 member since 1993, and is a third generation member.
